The Unfinished business continues: Manny Pacquiao vs Juan Manuel Marquez III being settled.

On November 2011, Manny Pacquiao, 53-3-2, 38 KO’s, plans to take care of unfinished business in his third meeting with Mexican warrior, Juan Manuel Marquez, 52-5-1, 38 KO’s.

Marquez is seen as the only man that can give the P4P Filipino warrior a fight, even mayweather can’t give pacquiao a fight cause his not willing to, which is why this Pacquiao vs Marquez III fight is already receiving so much attention. The news says, “Marquez accepts trilogy with pacquiao”; In my opinion there’s no reason he will not sign the contract cause he desperately needs it and he wants to prove something that he can beat pacquiao.

But before Marquez fight pacquiao on November 2011, he (marquez) is task to fight Juan “Baby Bull” Diaz in july, Marquez definitely needs to impressively win the Diaz bout because he needs to proved that he is worth for a pacquiao 3rd fight, Or else he’ll lose the chance for a trilogy.

Time is not on the side of Marquez. He is 37 years old and has been slowing down in the ring. Pacquiao is 32 years old and has also been slowing down, but not as dramatically as Marquez. It is safe to say that the third encounter will be a bigger firefight than the two that have come before it and that does not bode well for Marquez. Erik Morales could only hold of Manny for so long. Marquez may need to knock him out in order to survive this third encounter.

Pacquiao has looked better in his recent outings. Marquez didn’t look extraordinary against Michael Katsidis and Juan Diaz and was dominated by Floyd Mayweather, JR. Also, factor in that when Marquez does step into the ring in November, he will be coming off of a year layoff. That does not present a recipe for success.

There is hope for Marquez however. Pacquiao’s recent string of opponents was bigger men, but they were relatively slow and unable to hit Manny. Marquez knows how to time him and will be looking for the chance. He will not be terrified as Shane Mosley was. He will try to beat Manny with skill and grit, but he will put in more effort to make it clear.

But then their last fight was in 130lbs, and Pacquaio was improving as a slugger but has no defense at all so it was easy for Marquez to hit him by counterpunching. Now Pacquaio is on welterweight and his improving more not only as a slugger but as a complete fighter and he showed it in recent fights on highly talented opponents, he develop this counter punching ability without losing his slugger style speed, agility and defense.

This fight is going to be a war
